backing up...

to harrison's 1st birthday! since i do not currently have a camera i though it would be a good opportunity to go back and post some photos from harrison's 1st birthday. nana, aunt jenelle and uncle matt all flew in to help celebrate the big day!

on his real birthday (5/29) harrison got to try his first taste of cake. nana made him grandma lombardo's famous coconut cake...it is the cake that we (me, jenelle and matt) all had on our 1st birthday. after his first sugar high he opened some presents...and went on a wagon ride in his new raido flyer from nana and papa!



the next day we had a little cookout at la fortune park.
with family and friends. it was a beautiful day outside
and the kids loved the playground!

worst blogger ever here! i'm not going to even try to explain my lack of blogging...i'll just post some photos....

these are all from the 4th of july. we ate bbq, swam, did fireworks and went to watch fireworks with the higgins. harrison LOVED the fireworks...he kept pointing to the sky and saying "ohhh"

my mom, nana, came down for a 2 week visit. we all
had such a great time and were so sad to see her go.

harrison's first easter

harrison got to spend his 1st easter with his nana from buffalo. i think he really got into the easter basket thing...

catching up...

this title is appropriate for two reasons...

1) i am still catching up on my blogging
2) this post is about my fun girls time in kc "catching up" with

i met some of my closest friends from ORU, amie, amy & jen in kansas city a few weekends back. the 4 of us all currently live in different parts of the u.s...so meeting in kansas city for the weekend was a perfect reunion! in the past year we have all had a baby so the 4 day break of no diapers, no schedules and sleeping in was much needed! it was 4 uninterrupted days of shopping and yummy restaurants!

bad blogger

i really am the worst. but i am motivated now to be better. i'm going to back up a little bit here and post some pictures from a few weeks ago. harrison went to his first birthday party. it was for harper. it was a minnie mouse party at a little gym. so cute!


he kind of looks like a little mouse with those teeth!

almost spring...

little harrison is doing well. we had his 9 month doctor check up the other day. he is 90% for height and 45% for weight.


harrison got his little legs stuck between the
ottoman and the chair...sammy came to try and help


we borrowed a walking toy from a friend...he gets so proud of himself when he takes steps with it because it will make music!

sammy really is harrison's favorite. it is so cute
how they are starting to play together and they really
do watch out for eachother.


he is into everything these days...he especially
loves all the buttons behind those doors


ok...ok...i know that this video is sideways...but i always
forget that you cannot turn video...so just bare with me on it. you can see him walking with his little walker though. and the noises he is making are happy noises :)

we're back...

some updates in the past few weeks...

harrison had his first bath tub bath...
he LOVES baths,and his bath toys and splashing around!

he is definitely getting into everything now...crawling EVERYWHERE! (yes i know his hair is getting a little crazy!)


we went to dallas. harrison had a good time with his uncle mr. williams and aunt nita. i do love the 75 degree weather in february!


he is still working on his flirting...


the other day he got stuck between our ottoman and chair...
he just hung out for a little while.



now that we're back i promise that i will do these posts much more often...please leave comments though it makes it a lot more fun to leave posts...
